My goal is to develop customized, strategic-based\u00a0instruction\u00a0for each student that meets their individual needs. \u00a0The goal is to build a foundation of reading, writing, and math skills that students can apply to\u00a0their regular school program. Over the previous eight years of teaching, I have found the following programs to be very effective and continue to use them with my tutoring students.<\/div><\/td>

Writing Development<\/h4>\n

Landmark Writing<\/a> is designed to teach children with language-based learning disabilities how to break down the task of writing into smaller, more manageable components by organizing, sequencing, and elaborating on ideas using frameworks to write sentences and paragraphs.<\/div><\/td>\r\n \r\n <\/tr>\r\n <\/table>\r\n<\/div>\n

Math Mastery<\/h4>\n

Digi-blocks<\/a> are designed to enable students to internalize and apply the mathematical core concepts through guided discovery. The focus of this program is to gain mastery of number sense, place value, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division operations using conventional algorithms by using concrete manipulatives (blocks). Math fact mastery will also be included.<\/div><\/td>\r\n \r\n <\/tr>\r\n <\/table>\r\n<\/div>\n
